Now that you hath seen thy page or thy art -what am I saying- I shall introduce myself. |D I'm Steph, though I don't mind being called Steffi, Udon or onii-san/onee-san. Ah, I mainly draw anime characters when I have motivation to do so, due to current busy things blinding my path, hah. Realistically, I'm a lazy person who is always stuck on the internet, but I'm pretty social 'ere, and on Facebook. I'm seventeen years old at the moment, and still learning how to get used to creating creative stuff, like making cosplays for conventions, drawing professionally on PhotoShop or making videos on SonyVegas - I only made one video. I'm a n00b to all these things. XD Really, I just draw on books, and in my visual arts diary. But, I don't mind requests, or suggestions, at least I'm learning. Now I seem like a serious person, but that's only two-fifths of the time. I'm very derpy and random if you talk to me. XD

I haven't been constantly around dA for a while, so I forgot all those epic plz icons. XD It'll come back to me.~ Butbut, show me some! ; A; Show me teh light! /shot.

I don't really have a particular drawing style when drawing characters, but I pretty much learn as I go to get better. Artists get inspired by something no?

It won't be a long thingy. Actually it will.

In the few years of deviantART, you can notice a few people who do such great artworks yet appear to be under appreciated, yes? I had a friend who used to be in dA, stopped posting his art - and got rid of his account - because he wasn't getting the views he expected to have, comparing himself to artist here who have millions of views (Yuumei and Ben Heine). And he had a style that was pretty awesome, in my point of view. I was just thinking about it just now, to be honest. Yes, it's great to be appreciated and hearing people say you're talented; such comments should make the artist happy that she or he has got noticed for it. But my friend.. was just a liiiiiiiiittle impatient, maybe a bit jealous that he wasn't impressed. 'How could one person post up two artworks, and they got so many views so quickly?' Well for one, you have groups that notifies people for them to see it, and maybe it was a popular interest. Otherwise, they just have been on deviantART longer than my friend has. I personally don't think dA should be about the views you're getting, and the speed of it - I never cared or pay attention until the last minute of it. XD And there are so many of us who still in hundreds and thousands, or had just been welcomed here, who want to show their art to show what they are made of. And everyone here is talented, people look forward to how you progress overtime too. Quality over quantity, right? So be patient, for the people who care of being ultimately noticed. There will be people here who will love you.  Side Note: I'm quite happy with what people know me as the girl who drew that HetaOni picture, because I never thought people would like it. That encouraged me to keep going with what I like doing, and be confident in what I love to do. (Thank you so much, by the way XD)

Important Dates which caused me to be away from having fun:
    17 July 2013: Japanese Oral Examination.
    3 August 2013: HSC Trials Begin.
    14 September 2013: HSC Trials Finish.
    20 September 2013: Graduation.  
    14 October 2013: HSC Exams Begin.
    6 November 2013: HSC Exam End. I no longer need to return to high school. /shot.


Okay, back to what's happening here. Eh. I've just been a sad person all month. XDDD Because teachers are stressing us that our high school trials are now coming in, like, 3 months. Homework, assignments and majors are just overloading.. I got my half yearly exam marks back and I wasn't impressed.. Lectures and concerns, I keep hearing my teachers say it behind my back and at my face.. I get emotional breakdowns and stress, when I've been told many times by many of my friends and relatives online and out there to calm to fudge down. I'll say "I'll try! I'm trying!" but I'll still be that paranoid person. I'm too focused on my problems, rather than telling myself that I will go to University of Technology with a high mark and swearing it on my kokoro.

    One, I'm too slow. I'm just a terrible procrastinator. But I use a program to block off the websites - YouTube especially.
    Two, I'm losing motivation. Mainly due to technology. Ahh this generation. XD Phones and Apple products are everywhere; give the kids a break and let them experience the fun us 70/80/90's kids had enjoyed.
    Three, I'm negative, you can tell.
    Four, I'm disorganised.
    Five, I think too much of what teachers and parents think of me - lazy (I agree) and they compare me with geniuses, which makes me feel worse of myself. I shouldn't pay so much attention to it, but I do need to change how I study.  


Disorganisation, in my perspective, will result to chaos. I'm very reliant to instructions.. If I'm behind time, I panic. (Is this a sign of a perfectionist? Ahaha.) When really, I could've. Just. Do it. As if as though I'm in a survival. I guess I need a better strategy when it comes to organising with time and extracurricular events, along with my social life.. My lifestyle to this is really unhealthy. XD I am a hard worker, it's just these disadvantages that I always happen to me. I'm worried about my rankings.. I know that they don't define who I am as a person, but I need to work hard if I didn't do so well in my half yearly exams..

Ahh.. so.
